2020 NATIONAL HOG RALLY "Thunder Mountain"

Who Can Come: Any one, as long as they are there to have a good time and enjoy the festivities responsibly. This is an open rally, and while it is our H.O.G National rally, we encourage you to bring friends and family no matter what they ride, so they can experience what it's like to be a part of the best club in the world. *note - Only H.O.G Members will be allowed to the Friday night function until 11pm.
Accommodation: There is a number of options throughout the township of Ohakune. It's a functioning ski field in the winter months and as such, there's accom to suit a number of budgets. The Powderhorn is playing host to the rally and has some incredible room and suite offerings.
Getting Around: While we know everyone loves to ride, there will be shuttle bus options on the Saturday evening to get everyone home to their accommodation safely and responsibly if a few red cordials have been consumed. This service will only operate within the township of Ohakune.
Basic Schedule: There will be a detailed schedule of all events for the weekend to come, but for now, the things you need to know are:
Friday 13 March
2pm - 7pm: Registration open at The Powderhorn.
6pm – 11pm: H.O.G. Exclusive welcome night at Powderhorn Hotel (upstairs) with band, drinks and a chance to mingle with fellow Hoggies.
Saturday 14 March
9am – 1pm Registration open at the Powderhorn
9am Street Market – Coffee and food.
1.30pm Thunder Run briefing
2.00pm The Thunder Run! We can promise this will be one of the best. 17km of flowing and winding alpine pass to one of the most incredible views... you don't want to miss this one.
3.30pm Descent Ride to Powderhorn
4pm Street Party begins
7pm: Let the fun begin! We'll have a closed festival on the street and parkland directly in front of The Powderhorn. A stage, bands, bikes, food and beverages. Typical H.O.G. Bash style.
Sunday Morning 15th March:
(9am – 12pm) A community BBQ Breakfast. To say thanks for having us, the local community will be cooking a fry-up for H.O.G. members and friends to purchase before their travels home
