ROUTE CHANGE due to Gale Force Winds on Rimutaka Hill and in the Wairarapa
Spring Chapter Ride to ride the new road from Ashurst to Woodville.
Due to the high winds we'll be staying on the western side of the Tararua Ranges
The route will be BP to Opiki then turn left at the Rocket, Number 1 Line, Rongotea Rd, Kairanga/ Bunnythorpe Rd to Bunnythorpe then to Ashurst. We'll ride the new road west to east and back to Ashurst for lunch at the Backyard Cafe. Then ride home via SH 57.
We'll stop in Shannon at Allied for gas and end the ride there.
This ride is just over 300km for some of us.
