Labour Weekend Weekender to National Park

Staying at The Park Hotel 0800800491, they still have rooms available the nights we're there.

Saturday dinner at The Park 

Sunday dinner at Schnapps Bar

Ride to National Park Saturday leaving BP Mana, up SH59 and onto SH1, up through Shannon to Ashurst for coffee, then over to SH54 and on to Kimbolton Road and up to Kimbolton, Rangiwahia Rd and Ruahine Rd and onto SH1 at Mangaweka. SH1 to Waiouru across SH49 to Ohakune and up to National Park. 

Coffee stop in Ashurst Local Backyard Cafe, then lunch in Mangaweka at The Dukes Roadhouse, then Taihape for Gas.

Sunday Ride taking in some great Volcanic Plateau roads SH4 to Mananui, SH41 to Kuratau then left onto SH32, turn right at Tohoi then across the top of the lake to Taupo for lunch at Jolly Good Fellows. Then down SH1 to Rangipo then SH46 and SH47 back to National Park.

Monday leave 8.30am and ride south on SH4 to Raetihi for breakfast at Angel Louise Cafe, then down the Paraparas, through Whanganui onto SH3, Bulls BP on SH1,  and on to home.

Each of the three days rides are approx 300km so pretty relaxed and good fun.

We'll meet Kevin and Linn at Ashurst.
